Why Elect A. Savage?
My name is Anthony Savage, and I would be honored to receive your vote as our Republican candidate for Ohio State Representative. As a seasoned leader with a passion for service, I am committed to representing the interests of Ohioans in the 54th District.
I have served on the board of Main Street Wellington, committees for Friends of Findley State Park, and as a current Board Trustee of the Lorain County Farm Bureau, I have been instrumental in advocating for the rights and interests of our rural and farming communities. Additionally, I have served on the Board of a local church and am the most recently elected Chairman of the Lorain County Young Republicans.
I started my own business in the online retail space almost 3 years ago. As a small business owner, I understand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurship and stand against the pointless lockdown policies that shuttered Ohio businesses in RECORD numbers.
I have proudly served for nearly a decade as a youth pastor and now Fellowship of Christian Athletes. I have an unbreakable commitment to the values that make our community strong. As a Christian Leader, I can build bridges and find common ground in Columbus to GET THINGS DONE!
As a dedicated community servant, passionate leader, loving husband, and a fellow Ohioan who wants the best for our state, I stand ready to represent us, fight for our interests, and ensure that Ohio remains a wonderful place to work, live, retire and raise a family.
My wife, Ariana Savage, is a nurse and we are both strong supporters of the fight to ensure Medical Freedom for all. No one should be forced or coerced into any medical decision.

The Right to Life
As a Pastor, I believe life begins at conception. I am 100% pro-life, without exceptions, and have always and will always fight to provide a voice to the voiceless.
Eliminate the State Income Tax
I will work with other members of the Ohio State House and Senate to provide much needed relief to the taxpayers. One way we can do that is by Eliminating the State Income Tax. This would make our state a more attractive place for new residents and businesses.
2nd Amendment
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED. Its not just a slogan, its the law of the land. Every American has the right to defend themselves. I will always fight to protect our Constitutional rights and will work to nullify any law that opposes them, especially laws that restrict our 2nd Amendment rights!
Protecting Our Farmers
As a member of the board of the Lorain County Farm Bureau, I have worked to advance the interests of our local farming community. I will fight to protect everything that Ohio’s farming families have worked so hard to build.
Education
I support school choice. We need bold leadership to protect Ohio’s children from the radical left ideology that has rooted itself in our public school system. Ohio families deserve better options for our children’s education. We should ensure that money follows the student – not the bureaucrats.
Strong Economy
Ohio needs to combat the rising inflation costs that hurt every American. “Bidenomics” has failed. Small business is the heart and soul of Ohio and it is our small business community that will lead us to a more prosperous future. Small businesses are the life-blood of our economy, and that is where our efforts to improve should be focused.
Law and Order
I am a staunch supporter of our police and sheriff’s departments. We need a strong conservative that will stand up for our police when they come under attack from the radical left. Proper equipment and personnel is essential for a safe community, but so is elected leadership having the backs of local police. If you’re a first responder or law enforcement officer, I HAVE YOUR BACK!
Healthcare
We need to work on lowering healthcare costs for Ohio families. I will be a Champion for my constituents and fight for lower prescription costs and more affordable healthcare. We need to eliminate protectionist laws that are driving healthcare costs up across Ohio! I will represent patients and medical staff, not the medical industry and its lobbyists. I will stand with you, not the big pocket insurance companies.
Religious Liberty
During the Pandemic, an unelected bureaucrat and “health official” senselessly forced the shut-down of community churches and small businesses all while big box retailers, liquor stores, and abortion clinics remained open. There were medical patients refused service because of their religious choice to avoid the Covid-19 vaccine. You can count on me to fight for your rights and say NO to lock-downs and mandates. I will fight against religious discrimination, from the school system to the medical establishment.
Medical Freedom
Medical freedom is an essential right that ought to be guaranteed for each and every Ohioan – regardless of age or stage of development. As the proud husband of a nurse, I stand with the medical professionals of our community and the right of each constituent to make their own medical decisions without choice being taken away by a bureaucrat in Columbus. We saw what the bureaucrats did during the pandemic – and it didn’t make us more safe. We must always stand with our families, small businesses, and local medical professionals. Nobody should lose their job because of their personal medical choices.
